When the battery is offline

The "Updated" time on the Home page is the time we last received an update from the inverter, which is the part of the home system we communicate with. If we have not received an update for longer than 15 minutes, it is likely that it has lost its network connection and is now considered offline.

What is affected

The inverter and battery are still working, but we can’t control them.

This means if the customer is using battery optimisation, it will stay in the last mode chosen. If your device goes offline, it won’t update until it reconnects.

There will be gaps in Solar Generation, Home Usage, and Import/Export charts. This happens because we can’t collect data from the inverter while it’s offline, nor retrieve historical data when it’s back online.

Savings may not be calculated. If the inverter is offline for too long, it won’t provide us with enough data to estimate your savings reliably.
