Turning on optimisation in app

To help users start their journey towards additional savings on their energy bills, here's what they need to do:

Connect the Solar Inverter

Users should locate the 10-character Dongle registration number (DongleID) found under the QR code on their inverter's internet dongle. This number is crucial for connecting their solar inverter to the app.

Add Tariff Details

Users need to input their energy tariff details. If they're with Octopus Energy, they can seamlessly connect their energy account. If not, they can manually provide their tariff information. This will be added to the customer’s account in 2 days.

Turn On Optimisation

Guide users to navigate to their account settings, then to "Manage your battery" where they can activate the optimisation feature.

Customers can then start optimising their battery usage and enjoy potential savings on their electricity bills.

Turning on optimisation on the Zoa platform

Optimisation is able to be turned on remotely on a customers profile. Please request customers permissions before doing so.
